Here's a link to a personal growth exercise you will find very helpful.

I was doing research in preparation to write a page on personal growth and associated exercises when I encountered this beautifully written web page.

After reading the content and realizing that there were so many links from that page relating to other forms of personal growth exercise it seemed silly for me to write my own version.

It would've taken a long time to write a page as good as that and it seemed foolish to try when I can just link you to it.

You should be very careful of buying into the expensive live seminar mania.

Much of this training involves changing our core beliefs and that is essentially what personal growth involves.

Changing your core beliefs will probably take you a long time with lots of progress and backsliding. You know... the old three steps forward and two steps back kind of thing.

A lot of money is made selling back end products to network marketers involving personal growth exercises.

I generally feel that a lot of the personal growth material offered to MLMers is pretty good and investing in yourself is usually money well spent.

However essentially all live seminar events are extremely expensive and some of the most expensive even have multi-tiered affiliate compensation plans associated with them.

In my opinion you need to be wary of somebody in your upline who tries to sell you on getting involved with one of these kinds of seminar schemes.

Following is a good example.

I've known a woman who's been involved in MLM for about twenty years. She's done many of these expensive live seminars and always enthusiastically says how much they helped her and so on. She's always gushingly enthusiastic in what seems like a forced and unnatural way.

Trouble is with all this high end training she's never had more than 50 active people in any one of her downlines the entire time she's been involved in network marketing.

The last seminar she's been touting costs many thousands of dollars and has an affiliate program that pays down numerous levels similar to a MLM comp plan. How it can be legal is another question.

The sales tools supplied by the seminar producers are terribly flawed. Their videos would not play even with an extremely high speed Internet connection indicating something was very wrong at their end.

Several months following her attendance at one of these high dollar seminars she still communicates in the exact same very ineffective, deeply affected, phony manner she's been using for as long as I've known her.

She demonstrates the point I'm making very well. To create lasting change in your core beliefs you must work hard and review the same lessons repeatedly until you get it.

You can get the best training from the best trainers in the world recorded on DVD or CD sets and listen to them as often as you want or rather need.

Don't waste money on any live seminar if you are on a budget. It's totally unnecessary.

You should train yourself to become the best you possible.
