Effective MLM Sales Letters Can Be a Very Important Part of Your Success

Here's a link to some examples of MLM Sales Letters that were used in the past. Some way past. They were written and intended for use with the MLM company sponsored training that ultimately leads to failure.

I was originally going to post some top quality sales letters on this site and decided against it because many people would just copy them and use them with little or no editing.

You should use the sales letter examples as a starting point. What you send out needs to sound like it's coming from you in your own voice.

Don't think you'll be effective using the examples posted here in their original form. Most are terribly flawed but all of them have some good teaching points.

Reading and evaluating these examples will help you when it's time to write your own sales letters.

Some of these examples of sales letters appear to be pretty lame and reek of BS. Maybe the original authors were being sincere, but I doubt it.

Whoever was recruited using such letters was probably not very bright. You want to recruit top quality people. Don't try to BS prospects with outlandish claims and promises you can't keep. You'll drive away your best prospects and attract only less desirable prospects.

Again you would be hurting yourself by just copying and pasting the MLM sales letter examples. Using them as is would be a waste of your time.

Professional copy writers use what are called "swipe files" to use as a source of ideas for their original sales letters. You should use these MLM sales letter examples as swipe files and write original MLM sales letters.

When reading your finished MLM sales letters aloud you should sound like you're speaking in your own words.

Again the examples of MLM sales letters posted on this site are deliberately of lesser quality because if they were top quality sales letters many people would simply copy and paste them sending them out with no editing.

You should write your own MLM sales letters.

Everyone decides to act based upon fear of loss or desire for gain. Studies prove fear of loss is two and a half times stronger than desire for gain.

List what your prospect will lose by not going forward with your proposal.

Next make a list of all the benefits of going forward and becoming happily involved.

Then you list all the features or facts related to the offer and link these facts or features to benefits. For example, when stating a fact you might say "What that means to you is ____________ ." with a benefit in the blank.

Be kind, honest and forthright. The prospect must understand that you want what is best for them.

Next you write down all the objections you can think of and answers to these objections.

The next step is making a recording in your own words using your lists. The idea is imagine you're talking to a friend or loved one.

Now you type your recording into a word processor and edit it so it flows naturally.

To be thorough you might want to print out this draft copy and cut sections out with a pair of scissors. This way it's easy to rearrange your sales letter. You can then tape the pieces together, record it again and type it into the word processor again for further editing.

About 70% of your finished MLM sales letter should be relating to emotional reasons for going forward with you, 20% logical reasons (facts plus what that means to you etc.) and 10% speaker credibility such as quotes from industry experts or well known historical figures known for their wisdom like Ben Franklin.

A good way to get a feel for the difference between facts and benefits is watching infomercials. Most of them are also great examples of well thought out sales presentations.

Watch with a piece of paper with a line down the middle. Keep track of facts on one side and benefits on the other.

This will help your sales skills tremendously. MLM is a sales business. The sooner you accept this and embrace it the better off you will be.
